the map village EAT/DRINK 'best place' awards 2008/09 - Proudly Sponsored by Little Creatures Brewing.

IT'S TIME TO NOMINATE ...

the map village EAT/DRINK 'best place' awards 2008/09 celebrate Brisbane's favourite eating and drinking hot spots and we want you to tell us who deserves to be nominated.
This is your opportunity to tell us how it is out there in the land of eating and drinking, and it doesn't just mean the food or drink - it means the whole package. We want the creativity, the experience, the ambience, and the flavour all to be taken into account when you tell us who you think deserves to be considered in the voting process.

Go to www.themapvillage.com.au/survey to nominate your favourites.

Remember, nominations close on October 10 just in time for voting to open on October 13!

Cheers
the map team

For those who have not heard, Nigel Brennan, an Australian freelance journalist was kidnapped in Somalia on Saturday. Nigel is a Griffith University graduate and is a close friend of some of the staff at map magazine and he has also contributed to map magazine in the past.

Someone has set up a Facebook page for those who wish to offer Nigel a prayer for a safe return. You can offer your support and wish at the following link
